How do I confirm my identity? (CIP)

As a financial services provider based in Thailand, PayPal Thailand is obliged under Thai law to verify the identity of our customers.

We’ll use the National Digital ID (NDID) platform to obtain your necessary identity information. As Thailand’s digital identity verification service, NDID will allow us to do so in a standardized, reliable, fast, and safe manner.

To enroll in NDID, a Thai national ID is currently required. You can find more detailed information on the PayPal Thailand website.

If you don’t complete the required step, your PayPal account may experience reduced functionality.

How do I upload my documents?

To upload a file to PayPal for review, please contact our Customer Support teams to generate a secure link unique to your account. Here's how to reach our Customer Support teams.

That secure link will normally be sent via email or messaging during your interaction with our Support Teams. It can only be used for that singular interaction. A new link would need to be generated if you need assistance uploading documentation to your account in the future.

How long will it take to review my documents?

We’ll try to review your documents within a few business days, but in some cases, it may take longer.

What if I don’t want to confirm my identity?

Your PayPal account may experience reduced functionality.

What if I’ve already uploaded the documents for my other PayPal account?

We need you to upload documents separately for each PayPal account.
