Can I receive Federal payouts from FEMA into my PayPal Balance account?
PayPal customers can receive FEMA (Federal Emergency Management Agency) payouts into their PayPal Balance account.
A customer must have a PayPal Balance account to be eligible to receive FEMA funds via PayPal.
In addition to having a PayPal Balance account in good standing, you must do one of the following to ensure it’s eligible for FDIC pass-through insurance to receive FEMA payouts:
- Enroll in Direct Deposit.
- Open a PayPal Debit card.
- Buy or receive cryptocurrency with your PayPal Balance account.
