How do I link my personal and business PayPal accounts?
You can now link your personal and business PayPal accounts to manage them from a single location. This allows you to switch between accounts seamlessly without logging in and out each time. You can access both accounts from the same device while keeping your business and personal finances separate.
How do I link my accounts?
Here’s how to link your accounts from the web:
- Go to Settings.
- Click Link your accounts on the left.
- Follow the steps to complete the process.

- Go to Profile or Settings.
- At the top of the page, tap your current account type.
- Select Add account.
- Choose to either link an existing account or create a new linked account.
- Follow the steps to complete the process.
What happens when my accounts are linked?
Once your accounts are linked:
- You can switch between accounts instantly without logging out
- Only you can see that your accounts are linked
- If you have multiple users on your business account, only you (as the primary account holder) will see the option to switch accounts
- You maintain separate security and privacy for each account
- You can access both accounts from any device where you're signed in
How do I switch or unlink my accounts?
Here’s how to switch or unlink your account from the web:
- At the top of the page, click the arrow beside the PayPal logo.
- Switch between your linked accounts or select Unlink accounts.
- Follow the steps to complete the process.

- Switch between your linked accounts or tap the Unlink account option.
- Follow the steps to complete the process.
Note: After unlinking, you'll need to use separate login credentials for each account. You can always link your accounts again later by following the linking steps.

- You must be the primary account holder for the business account
- Never share your account credentials with others
