Why didn’t my donation go to my recommended charity (PayPal Giving Fund)?

If a charity doesn’t meet the terms of our Nonprofit Certification Policy and/ or doesn’t meet PayPal Giving Fund’s due diligence standards, we may reassign the money to another charity. We may also reassign donations if we’re unable to grant the money, for example, if the charity doesn’t cash the checks that we sent. Where possible, we contact the original donor to ask for a new charity recommendation.
